Fit Chic NYC’s Blog

I embrace fitness. And while some may call it an obsession, I’d rather call it a healthy addiction.

I’m a twenty-something native Floridian female whose dream is to climb the masthead and make it in the world of magazine publishing. I recently relocated to New York City, and while I’ve worked hard to be where I am today, I still have a long way to go. And it is my goal is to combine my two life’s passions – magazines and fitness – into one career.

My mother, a physical therapist, instilled in me an appreciation for the human body and more importantly a healthy muscular and skeletal system – which has later proved to be both a positive and negative appreciation.

Always being a self-proclaimed fitness nut and gym rat, I decided to put my passion and knowledge to use and during my junior year in college I tested to become a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. And since then, I’ve been pushing myself to new fitness limits while helping others reach their goals. And while (thankfully) being healthy and fit is becoming popular, for me, fitness isn’t a trend – it’s a lifestyle.

*Note: While I am a certified personal trainer, nothing on this blog should take the place of a doctor’s medical advice.

I think you would really like our cardiofit program! 30 Minutes of advanced cardiovascular training followed by 10 minutes of agility, strength and endurance exercises.

You have a new fan!

Take Care!

Hey – My name is Chris McEwen from We’ve been following Fit Chic NYC and find it to be a terrific yoga resource (at of late at least), particularly in its enthusiasm for the world of yoga.

HeyKiki creates a platform for yogi – instructors and students alike – to meet fellow enthusiasts and share resources related to yoga. We wanted to share our yoga content with you in the hopes that it might be helpful to your audience: Additionally, we’d love to write a guest post for your blog.

If any of this interests you, please let us know. If not, no worries and we look forward to following your blog.
